Advanced Horsemanship Camp
June 12th – 16th (9 AM – 3 PM)

Intermediate Horsemanship Camp (ages 6 and older)
July 19th – 23rd (9 AM – 3 PM)
Beginner Horsemanship Camp (ages 5 and older)
July 26th – July 30th (9 AM – 1 PM)

No previous riding experience necessary for Beginner Horsemanship Camp.

  • Advanced Camp and Intermediate Camp: $550 on an Arbor Gate Farm horse or $500 on your own/leased horse.
  • Beginner Horsemanship Camp: $350.
  • Deposit of $100 required to hold a spot in any of the summer camps.
  • Limit 15 students per session.
  • Overnight stabling available for $15 per day.

Which camp is right for my child?

If your child:

  • is age 5 or older, and has limited or no riding experience, then choose the Beginner Horsemanship Camp.
  • can Walk/Trot/Canter and take small jumps, then Advanced Horsemanship Camp is the right choice.

Required Equipment:

  • ATSM/SEI Approved helmet
  • long pants
  • boots with a heel, but not steel-toed
  • water bottle and snack
  • sunscreen
  • crop and dressage whip (Advanced Camp only)

 

Optional Equipment:

  • half chaps
  • riding breeches
  • shorts to change into
  • Arbor Gate Farm polo shirt (email Cecily to order; red; $30)
